After a breakout debut season for HBO’s latest drama Westworld, the show is set to begin filming its much anticipated second season this month. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, the show may still be set for a 2018 debut despite production gearing up now.

Also with the report comes the announcement of The Leftovers actress Katja Herbers has been added to the principal cast. Herbers will play Grace who is described as “a seasoned guest in Westworld whose latest visit comes at the park’s darkest hour”. With the show set to appear in a panel at Comic-Con International next week, it is unlikely HBO will be able to show any footage from the upcoming season.

It was announced earlier this year that two cast members would also play bigger roles. Louis Hertham and Tallulah Riley were promoted to series regular status for the upcoming second season. Hertham was seen as host Peter Abernathy, Dolores’s (Evan Rachel Wood) dad. Riley’s portrayed another host named Angela. There are no details yet as to the returning cast members for the upcoming season.
